I am a total plant. I think I am definetely solar powered. When the sun is out I have all this energy, and want to play all day long. And when it's not, I want to curl up in my bed and zone out. Haha. Have a beautiful day all and hip hip hooray for the sun! :) I should go live somewhere on the equator....

Oh yea, go watch the movie "Millions", it's one of my new faves!

I am making a rare entry only because I find this story so hilarious, that it cannot be kept inside. When you're feeling blue, you can always come back and read this and feel better, I promise.

So there is this student at my work, let's just call her Weird Girl. Because she is Weird with a capital W. And not the cool kind of weird, the kind of weird that makes you want to simultaneously shake your head in wonder and laugh so hard your stomach hurts after the person leaves. We're pretty sure she is on one or more drugs, judging by the very odd physical behaviors and abnormally large eyes and the number of times she spaces out while she's talking. Every encounter with her is like watching a mini movie. It brightens my day, sadly enough, at her expense. This all takes place in the span of 3 months.

Weird Encounter #1: Girl I have never seen before (Weird Girl) is looking for someone in my office, in an alarmingly frantic manner. I calm her down, tell her he will be returning eventually. Her pupils seem unusually dialated. All of sudden she ceases her panicky rambling and becomes deathly quiet. Then she walks up to me and begins petting my arm, more specifically, my sweater. "Oh my gosh! I have that same sweater!" ok cool, stop touching me. "I LOVE this sweater, I can't believe you have it too! I wish I had mine on right now" oooookay, cool. "Don't you love your sweater, I thought I was the only one that had it! Oh my gosh!" Now people are staring, and unabashedly eavesdropping, and laughing at my predicament behind her back. She will not stop stroking my arm. And then as soon as it began, she is gone like the wind, leaving me feeling slightly violated and confused.

Weird Encounter #2: Weird Girl is talking to my coworker she was looking for during the last encounter. They are not friends. Yet she talks to him a lot. She asks him if he wants the rest of her cake. (???!!!) It is a sad looking cake. All broken and icing everywhere. He feels rude saying no, so he accepts (and later throws in the trash). She then proceeds to tell him (and those around) the story of her sad cake. Apparently her parents took her out to dinner the other night, for no reason at all. Then they brought out a homemade cake during dinner. It is not her birthday, she says. Then, the waiters all came out and sang Happy Birthday and made her blow out candles on the cake. So here she is with the remains. LOL. My theory is either A) she is so out of it she didn't know it WAS her birthday B) She made the whole thing up, because she is THAT weird.

Weird Encounter #3: WG shares (without any prompting of course) that she is going to Paris for 13 days. With who we ask? "No one." Why not? "I can't wait for my friends to save their pennies that they are always wasting on beer" Ok, that's a little strange, but not too strange. Also strange to share so much with complete strangers that did not initiate any sort of conversation with you. "Yea, and I'm asking people to make me mixed CD's for my trip, could you guys?" Um, there's one problem, we don't know you, but ok! And why are you going to sit in a country whose language you don't speak all alone for 13 days? I don't know if those "friends" are real. Oh yea, and I still don't know her name.

But does it really matter if she makes me laugh?
